Scosso Ristorante Opens at Mall, Black Cow in Hamilton Adds 33 Beer Taps

When you're looking for a night out and a break from cooking, you might want to know what's new not just where you live, but in other nearby North Shore communities.

Here's our round up of the latest food news in the area.


Massachusetts limits how many stores in a given grocery chain can sell beer and wine. Good news, North Shore. The Trader Joe's in Peabody has joined those ranks. They even have liquor.

The martini bar is open at Scosso. The new italian restaurant at the mall opened its doors on Black Friday.



Bangkok Paradise Thai Restaurant and Sushi Bar lost its liquor license after police found underage drinking and arrested the owner on charges of drug trafficking.

The Lynde Street Cafe near the Witch Dungeon Musem is now open for dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, according to "Gastronaut" Jim Armstrong.
