Peabody doesn't hold an official First Night celebration, but that doesn't mean you'll have to travel far on New Year's Eve to party. Several local restaurants and bars are putting on their own parties.
Here's the round-up:
- Capone's is ringing in the new year with the band WildFire, starting at 9:30 p.m. There will be free raffles, party favors and a complimentary house drink. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Call 978-977-0520 for a reservation.
- Paddy Kelly's will be open and serving until 2 a.m. with music, champagne, giveaways and more.
- Stonewood Tavern has a special four-course menu planned, along with hors d'oeurves, party favors, a continental breakfast, prizes and live entertainment from Vinyl Groove and DJ Rick DeSanctis. Tickets are available by calling 978-531-5311 or stop by at 139 Lynnfield St.
- Toscana's Ristorante is taking reservations for a New Year's Eve dance party from 10 p.m. - 1 a.m. with live music featuring Joey Canzano, champagne and a private bar. There is no entry fee.
