Menounos and Co. to Celebrate Film Premiere at Scosso's

Boston area native Maria Menounos and cast and crew will be celebrating this week's release of their film "Adventures of Serial Buddies" Saturday night in Peabody.

Scosso Ristorante & Bar over at the Northshore Mall will be hosting some special guests Saturday night.

Medford native Maria Menounos and other cast and crew members of the film "Adventures of Serial Buddies" will be at the Italian eatery March 9, starting at 7:30 p.m., to celebrate the U.S. release of their new film.

The off-beat buddy comedy about none other than serial killers stars Henry Winkler, Christopher Lloyd, Beth Behrs and Kathie Lee Gifford as well, although Scosso owner Anthony Cavallo wasn't sure whether they would accompany Menounos to the party.

The film opened March 8 in AMC theaters in California, Illinois, New Jersey, New York and right across the way at the AMC Loews Theatre at the Liberty Tree Mall.

Menounos, who hosts the entertainment newsmagazine "Extra," is also the producer on this film and brought it to the big screen with boyfriend screenwriter and director Keven Undergaro.

The Boston Herald caught up with the couple recently to chat more about the film and you can read that interview here.

Cavallo, who just opened Scosso after Thanksgiving, was mum on how exactly his eatery ended up hosting the party, but simply said "Scosso is a cool, new place to go."

He said the restaurant will be open regular hours as well Saturday for the public.
