Library Lunches

The Peabody Institute Library is pleased to announce that they will host a Summer Food Program, “Library Lunches” starting on Monday, August 1st.  Library Lunches will offer free, nutritious lunches and fun activities for children and teens 18 and under at the Main Library, 82 Main Street, Peabody.

Library Lunches will run Monday-Thursday from August 1st - August 6th.  Lunch will be served starting at 12pm.  All lunches and activities will conclude by 1pm each day.

No registration or I.D. is necessary to participate in Library Lunches.  The library requests that any child under the age of 8 be accompanied by a responsible person over the age of 11.

The Summer Food Program is a federally funded program administered by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.  Locally, Library Lunches are made possible by the Peabody Institute Library, the Haven from Hunger and Mayor Michael Bonfanti’s Office.
