Brooksby Village Residents Spend Day at Peabody City Hall

Mayor Edward A. Bettencourt, Jr. welcomed more than 60 people from Brooksby Village to City Hall so they could learn more about the City of Peabody and have lunch there.

Julius Schiller, who has lived at Brooksby Village for 9 years and is Chair of Know Your Government at Brooksby Village, came up with the idea months ago and met with Mayor Bettencourt and Cheryl Whittier, Community Resources Coordinator, Brooksby Village, to make this day happen.

Mayor Bettencourt, along with a number of people who work at City Hall and for the City of Peabody, spoke to the crowd from Brooksby Village and then all the residents had lunch with Mayor Bettencourt.
