After an impressive weekend the Fenwick swim team remains unbeaten.
On Friday evening the Crusaders took on the Archbishop Williams Bishops at Randolph High School. They emerged victorious 77-60, after competing in a very chilly pool.
Fenwick placed first in 7 of the 8 individual events
- Connor Chirstuk was a double winner in the 200 Freestyle (2:09.40) and the 100 Backstroke (1:09.25)
- Capt. Linsey Andrews was a double winner in the 200 Individual Medley (2:32.81) and the 100 Freestyle (1:03.49)
- Carson Chistuk was a double winner in the 50 Freestyle (24.46) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:04.16)
- Capt. Steven LaRochelle took the 50 Butterfly (34.31)
Fenwick also won 2 of the meet's 3 relays
- 200 Medley Relay (2:06.19) - Co. Christuk, Ca. Christuk, LaRochelle, & Ben Kaupp
- 400 Freestyle Relay (4:17.43) - Kaupp, Pablo Jimenez, Co. Chistuk & Ca. Christuk
On Sunday afternoon the Crusaders took on Cardinal Spellman in their home pool, the Salem YMCA. They came out on top 86-76.
Fenwick placed first in 7 of the 8 individual events
- Connor Christuk, double winner, 200 Free (1:56.69) and 100 Back (1:04.22)
- Capt. Linsey Andrews, double winner, 200 IM (2:30.54) and 100 Freestyle (1:03.37)
- Connor Christuk, double winner, 100 Butterfly (55.41) and 500 Freestyle (5:07.81)
- Pablo Jimenez, 100 Breaststroke (1:19.28)
Fenwick came in first in all three relays
- 200 Medley Relay (2:08.16) Ca. Christuk, Jimenez, Capt. Steven LaRochelle and Tom Delaney
- 200 Freestyle Relay (1:59.50) Co. Christuk, Jimenez, Delaney and Garrett Collins
- 400 Freestyle Relay (4:18.00) Co. Christuk, Virginia Ambeliotis, Justine Armand and Ca. Christuk
Fenwick's 2nd place 200 Freestyle Relay of Capt. Bridgette Townsend, Nicole DiMeglio, Armand and Andrews qualified for the Girls North Sectional Meet with a time of 2:00.00
