Peabody’s Relay for Life Packed With Fun for Everyone

Peabody Relay for Life features new and exciting activities this year! Join in the fun this Friday and Saturday, and help raise money for cancer research and treatment. Open to the public.

The track and field at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School will play host to more than 45 teams, over 500 team members, and thousands of residents from Peabody and surrounding communities as the Peabody Relay for Life takes to the field to fight cancer.

Taking place this Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15, the Peabody Relay for Life is jam-packed with exciting new features and very special guests. Much like the Peabody International Festival, food plays an important role at the Peabody Relay for Life. In addition to the outstanding food, meals and other items prepared and sold by Relay teams, new this year will be a dinner featuring meals from Santoro's, Polcari's, Toscana's, Supino's and Edible Arrangements. Tickets for the meal are $7, and can be purchased at Relay.

Come to the Relay and meet Wally from the Red Sox and Blades from the Bruins beginning at 5 p.m. A special sing-a-long of “Sweet Caroline” will take place, as well as a “Boston Strong” lap and a “Peabody Strong” lap. Las Vegas entertainer and recording star Joey Voices will make a special appearance at 5:30. On-going music and entertainment will take place ranging from DJs spinning tunes to live bands performing throughout the stadium. Live martial arts demonstrations, balloon artists, and the highly-anticipated MISS RELAY competition will take place throughout the evening.
