OPA! Saint Val's Greek Festival This Weekend

The annual Greek Festival at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church starts this Friday.

Where else in town can you get authentic spanakopita, souvlaki, gyros and roast lamb, followed up by helpings of baklava, loukoumades and finikia than at St. Vasilios' annual Greek Festival? And there's more.

The three-day festival starts up Friday evening and includes ethnic dancing, live music, games, a country store, boutiques, religious items, a raffle and more food. The raffle grand prize this year is a one-week stay at The Cove in Yarmouth. Cash and Boston Celtics tickets are in the mix for the runners up.

The festival runs from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free and so is parking. All activities take place at St. Vasilios.

Call the church at 978-531-0777 for more information or visit www.stvasilios.org.
