No Alcohol, Bikes, Skate Boards, Rollerblades or Pets Allowed

The city has a few safety guidelines for those attending the International Festival this weekend. As for four-legged pets, only certified service dogs will be allowed into the festival area.

The city is asking festival goers this Sunday to follow a few safety guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience is had by all at and Kids Day.

Here are what the rules say:

  1. No pets of any kind, other than certified service dogs, will be allowed in the festival area and the Kids Day area. City of Peabody Animal Control Officers will on duty to monitor.
  2. No bicycles, skate boards or persons on rollerblades will be allowed into the festival or Kids Day area on the Leather City Common.
  3. No alcohol will be served of permitted in the festival or Kids Day area on the Leather City Common.

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 9. Stay tuned for specific traffic information and road closures in and around Peabody Square.
