Tobin Bridge Work Will Resume This Month

Lane restrictions will last through the fall.

The final year of the three-year $44.8 million Tobin Bridge repair project is expected to begin in April, possibly as soon as next week.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said steel preservation/repair work and painting will require lane closures on the upper and lower decks during off-peak hours.

The lane restrictions will last through the fall.

MassDOT’s contractor is Liberty-Alpha Joint Venture.
