Are you ready for more snow? There's a good chance of another 4-6 inches heading this way Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Snow is expected to start falling after 10 a.m., becoming heavy briefly in the afternoon before tapering off in the evening.

The weather service says driving conditions may become hazardous at times and heavy snow will likely affect the evening commute. Visibility may be down to a half- or quarter-mile at times.

Northeasterly winds of 5-10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph are expected to accompany the snow. Two to four inches may accumulate during the day with another 1 to 2 inches during the night. The temperature will be in the teens to mid 20s.

The storm this past weekend dropped about 8 inches of snow in Peabody.

Is the weather the reason for the lack of water pressure in West Peabody?!

All I know is that the CITY WORKERS need to due a better job at the schools.. Dropped my sons off and the parking lot was gross and the side walks had more ice on them then the Peabody High Ice skating rink....

Three water main breaks in west peabody. And the entire city, especially schools, could do a better job at snow removal! That is a major issue I have always had with this city. Plowing sucks! I am an essential employee and I need the streets plowed, just because school is cancelled does nit mean Peabody should be lax with the snow removal!!

I have been wondering about the lack of water pressure in West Peabody for a while now. Didn't hear anything about any water main breaks. Is the city planning on resolving this any time soon? Personally, I think the city does a pretty decent job at snow removal, at least on the main streets. School parking lots could be done better.

Could just be my area. But in the 6 years in this particular neighborhood, it has been absolutely awful! My parents are near the mayor, and there isnt so much as one snowflake on the ground !!!
