Angels, Figurines Returned to Girl's Grave

The items were stolen from a 10-year-old girl's Oak Grove Cemetery last month.

Annmarie Scheiding received a heartwarming surprise on July 4 when she found the angels and momentoes that were stolen from her daughter's grave had been left in a bag at the grave.

Scheiding's daughter, Stephanie, died 10 years ago at the age of 10 because of a rare kidney cancer.

The items on Stephanie's grave weren't valuable monetarily, but held a special meaning to the girl's family.

“I know in my heart that they were stolen but my daughter was such a strong person. She forgave everybody,” Scheiding told CBSBoston. “My husband had said ‘They had to go and help some other lost soul and now they’re back. They did their job and they came back.’”
