5 Things You Need to Know Today, Nov. 28

Free flu shots, toy donations and other things to know today.

Today is Wednesday, Nov. 28. Here are five things to know today in Peabody.

  1. The Peabody Health Department will be holding a free flu clinic at Comunidade de Cristo Church tonight from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for ages 10 years and older. The church is located at 67 Tremont St. Flu vaccinations will be available on a first come first served basis.
  2. Have you checked out Scosso yet? The new Italian restaurant and martini bar is now open at the Northshore Mall (where Bertucci's used to be) and just launched its own Facebook page as well.
  3. The Peabody Police Department is running its annual holiday toy drive through Dec. 21. Drop off new, unwrapped toys at the station lobby.
  4. There's a holiday wreath sale Saturday to benefit the Class of 2014 at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School.
