5 Things to Know: Last Week of Fall Leaf Pickup
The last week of curbside leaf collection for the fall starts today and a funeral service for Joyce Spiliotis will be held this morning.
Today is Monday, Dec. 3. Here are five things to know today in Peabody.
- The last week of fall curbside leaf collection starts today. JRM will pick up yard waste in paper bags or barrels only, along with regular trash pickups this week. Yard waste in plastic bags will not be accepted.
- Funeral: A funeral service for Peabody state Rep. Joyce Spiliotis is today at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
- There's a tonight at the Portuguese-American War Veterans Club.
- It's McCarthy Night at Stonewood Tavern tomorrow from 4-7 p.m. A portion of the proceeds during that time will benefit the McCarthy School PTO.
