Peabody New Signage at One Essex Center Drive Features New Name

Peabody, MA – Lahey Medical Center, Peabody (formerly Lahey Clinic Medical Center, North Shore) officially renamed its One Essex Center Drive campus with the installation of new signage. The name change reflects the facility’s role as part of Lahey Health – which was established following the affiliation between the former Lahey Clinic, Inc. and the former Northeast Health System. Lahey Health includes Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington (formerly Lahey Clinic); Lahey Medical Center, Peabody; Lahey Outpatient Center, Lexington; Beverly Hospital, Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester; Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers (an outpatient facility of Beverly Hospital – and formerly known as Beverly Hospital at Danvers), Lahey Health Behavioral Services and Lahey Health Senior Care.

The name change serves to better represents the breadth and depth of services offered at the One Essex Road, which serves as a medical center for Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and continues to offer 24-hour emergency services, inpatient beds, high-tech diagnostics and treatment, primary care, specialty care, and ambulatory surgery.

Consistent with the rebranding and new signage of the facility is the removal of the building’s blue Hospital signs. This is not an indication that services are changing. All services remain the same, including all outpatient physician and hospital services, surgery, 24-hour emergency services, and inpatient beds.
