Community Corner

Happy 2nd Birthday to The Mass Factor

We celebrate our 2nd birthday with great appreciation for our PEG Access Stations (all 81 communities plus 3 in NH!) who have The Mass Factor on the air!  Special thanks to our "home station", Danvers Cable Access TV (DCAT) and our "home away from home", Peabody Access TV (PAT) for their unwavering support and technical assistance. And also to our go-to team of talented crew-members, especially Nate Young, Josh Davis, Charlie Vogel, Derek Bergman, and Tom Muxie, without whom the show would not/could not go on!  And of course, our on-air personality, Todd Feinburg, without whom, well, I'd really be up a creek!
We hope The Mass Factor audience has found this year's guests to be as fascinating and informative as our first year's guests.  We couldn't resist bringing back two of our favorites, Barbara Anderson and State Senator Bruce Tarr.  Whether our guests are on Beacon Hill (Shaunna O'Connell, Brad Jones) or in advocacy/research/watchdog organizations like Associated Industries of Mass., The Pioneer Institute, Mass. Fiscal Alliance, or Mass. Gun Owners Action League, they all shared their interesting perspectives on the "topics of interest to Massachusetts voters".  Topics such as EBT fraud, mortgage fraud, gun control, gaming, drug prevention, and much more.
As we head into the new year, with shows planned to cover human trafficking, recovery schools, and more, we hope you will feel free to share with us your ideas for new topics and guests!  Be sure to "like" us on Facebook.  With any luck, year 3 will have us bringing on the approx. 20 stations who just need a local sponsor.  If you think you can help, please let me know!
Once again, thank YOU for your continued support!  Sincerely, Linda
