College Players to Coach Summer Football Clinic

College players from Amherst College, Merrimack College, Assumption College, and Trinity College are on deck to coach boys in grades 6-9 at a football clinic at Pingree School in South Hamilton from July 28 to August 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants will develop the essential skills as they hone all aspects of each position, from stance and footwork to game strategies. Each day will consist of a combination of warm-ups, agility training, individual position training and 7 v 7 games. Players will work on both offensive and defensive skills daily. Lunch will be provided. 

Clinic Director Chris Powers is the Director of Athletic Facilities and Head Football Coach at Pingree. Coach Powers is the founding coach of the Pingree football program which started in 2005 and has compiled an overall record of 46-19, including three NEPSAC Bowl appearances and winning two New England Championships (2009, 2010).
