Stage One, the drama club of PVMHS presents their 2013 Drama Festival performance of Nilo Cruz's "Night Train to Bolina." The play follows the journey of Mateo, a 10 year old boy, and Clara, an 11 year old girl, as they escape starvation and abuse for "the city." They find themselves at a church mission where they are separated by Sister Nora and Dr. Martin. But their loyalty and love for one another prove stronger than their circumstances.
*** Although the event is FREE, donations will be graciously accepted. All proceeds benefit the students of Stage One Drama Club.
DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER ON FEBRUARY 8TH, TWO PERFORMANCES OF "NIGHT TRAIN TO BOLINA" WILL BE PRESENTED ON FEBRUARY 15TH, ONE WITH PRINCIPAL ACTORS, ONE WITH UNDERSTUDIES.

Home of the Tanners, Peabody Veterans Memorial High School is headed by Principal Edward Sapienza and strives to give more than 1,800 students sound academic instruction in subjects ranging from Business and English to sciences and performing arts. The school also offers students opportunities to play on its sports teams and participate in key groups such as the Marching Band and Color Guard, computer science club and National Honor Society. By offering students so many ways to learn and participate, the high school's goal is to produce graduates who will make positive contributions to their community and society.
