The first meeting of the New Year for "Common Threads" will be: Thursday, Jan. 12, 10 a.m., at the Main Library, 82 Main St.
"Common Threads," a needlework group will meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.
Needle workers of all levels (including those who knit, embroider, crochet, or do other forms of hand-sewing) are welcome to join. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from others and to share what they know.
