February 4
- 1:20 a.m. Nancy E. Carson, 54, of 6 Goodridge St., Peabody, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, following a two-car accident on Main Street near Tedeschi's Food Shops. She was also charged with failure to use care in operation. No injuries were reported.
- 1:23 a.m. A security guard at BMW of Peabody on Route 114 reported an alarm was triggered on the back lot of the dealership. Police said a father and son were looking at cars. They were sent on their way and told to return when the dealership was open for business.
- 1:40 p.m. Employees at the Dunkin' Donuts on Route 1 North reported a male and female were causing a disturbance. Police said the pair was kicked out of a hotel and didn't have anywhere else to go. An officer offered them several types of assistance, but they refused any help from the police and left the store on foot.
February 5
- 1:28 a.m. A 30-year-old Peabody man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 near Spinelli's. He was also charged with a marked lanes violation.
- 3:25 p.m. Employees at the YMCA reported a man in his 50s or 60s was making inappropriate comments to people in the gym. The man was described as white with gray hair, about six feet tall and wearing a black Jack Daniels shirt. Staff said he left the gym with another Y member.
February 6
- 12:23 a.m. An 18-year-old Peabody male was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, following a report of a car accident on Leblanc Drive. Police received a call that a car struck a tree.
- 9:37 a.m. A caller at Tedeschi Food Shops on Main Street reported a shoplifting. The caller said a mustached white male clad in black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt took items from the store and fled on foot toward Caller Street.
- 9:11 p.m. A 17-year-old Peabody male was arrested, following a report of a robbery in the parking lot of A Plus Market on Central Street. A female caller said while her car was parked outside, the suspect reached in and stole $60 in cash from her purse. He fled on foot down Main Street. Police said they found him on Jacobs Street. The teen was charged with larceny under $250 and larceny from a person.
February 7
- 3:04 p.m. A female pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle at the corner of Bowditch and Central streets. The person was transported to Salem Hospital. No further details were available.
- 9:18 p.m. A caller on Crane Brook Way reported her downstairs neighbor was yelling at her kids and throwing objects. Police said the noise was just the kids running around before going to bed.
February 8
- 3:09 a.m. An 18-year-old homeless Danvers male was arrested at Walgreens on Route 114 on two default warrants from Peabody and Lynn. The charges included carrying a concealed weapon.
- 10:20 a.m. A caller on Forest Street reported witnessing an assault. The caller said a male in a silver Volkswagen was chasing a female in a Chevrolet Blazer. The Volkswagen, however, turned onto Lowell Street while the Chevy continued onto Route 1 North.
- 2:40 p.m. A caller at a Ledgewood Way apartment reported she received a phone call from someone claiming to be her grandson who asked her to send him money via Western Union. The company, however, suspected it was a scam, which was verified by speaking with the woman's daughter. Police said Western Union then refunded the victim in full.
February 9
- 10:39 a.m. A caller reported an incident on the ramp from Goodwin Circle onto Route 1 North. She said her ex-boyfriend made a motion to run her off the ramp while in her own car.
- 12:33 p.m. A caller reported two "very young children" were playing inside a light brown-colored minivan on Aborn Street. The van, however, rolled across the parking lot and into another parked car. The caller said the children's mother came out to collect her youngsters and then went back inside her house. Police spoke with the driver of the motor vehicle and he was "satisfied with their version of events."
- 6:05 p.m. A caller reported she was assaulted while at Paddy Kelly's on Sunday around 12:30 a.m. and struck in the face. The owner of the bar had to break up the fight. Police said the incident was under investigation, but indicated charges would be filed.
February 10
- 11:05 a.m. A 21-year-old Oak Street resident reported she was threatened over the phone by a man who lives on Mount Vernon Street. She said the man told her not to come around anymore because "she doesn't know who she's messing with." She said the man was in his 40s or 50s and she was worried the incident might escalate.
- 12:31 p.m. A male pedestrian was transported to Salem Hospital after he was struck by a motor vehicle on Margin Street. No further details were available.
