Snowfall Predicted Today Up to 4 Inches
A winter weather advisory has been issued for Wednesday with a prediction of 2-4 inches of snow collecting during the day.
A small snowstorm is expected to roll in just as the morning rush hour starts on Wednesday.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Peabody through 3 p.m. because 2-4 inches of snow is expected.
“The snow will continue through mid morning, but probably change to rain and sleet by late morning or early afternoon before tapering off,” the weather service said in issuing its advisory.
Untreated roads are expected to be slippery on Wednesday morning with reduced visibility too.
Snow showers and sleet may be back in late afternoon.

I second that Bonnie! We knew this was coming..the city even banned on street parking...and the roads in Peabody were in TERRIBLE condition this morning. No plows and no salt. It made for a very dangerous commute...cars were getting stuck and sliding around everywhere. Who is responsible for this? Who dropped the ball?
