Route 114 Open for Morning Rush Hour
The highway finally reopened at the Peabody-Danvers line this morning.
The stretch of Route 114 between the Century House and the plaza just past the Outback Steakhouse finally reopened to traffic Friday morning.
Peabody police said that as of 5:55 a.m., all lanes were open to traffic.
The road was closed all day Thursday and through the night as crews replaced several utility poles that were knocked down or badly damaged by fierce winds.
