Police Make 11 Arrests Over Weekend

The following information was provided by the Peabody Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

made 11 arrests over this past weekend related to incidents involving motor vehicle violations and three OUIs, shopliftings, domestic fights and drug violations.

Friday, Oct. 28

  • 2:16 a.m. Victor A. Sanchez, 29, of 989 Salem St. #2, Malden, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Gardner Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.
  • 2:02 p.m. Anacleto Lopez, 20, of 81 Sacamore St. #3, Lynn, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on First Avenue. Lopez was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop or yield.
  • 6:16 p.m. Kyla Sepulveda, 23, of 44 Mendon St., Worcester, was arrested on a warrant after police responded to a report of a detained shoplifter at . The stolen merchandise was cologne. The warrant charges out of Salem District Court were for theft and identity fraud.
  • 8:15 p.m. Emily V. Spatt, 31, of 183 Fulton St., Medford, was arrested at for larceny over $250 and shoplifting.
  • 9:19 p.m. Charles R. Belisle, 25, of 76 Margin St., Salem, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 near the . Belisle was charged with driving with a suspended license and speeding.
  • 10:01 p.m. Emanuel S. Rodriguez, 21, of 23 Tanners Ct., Peabody, was arrested for possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute and a drug violation in a school zone, following a motor vehicle stop at Tanners Court.
  • 11:30 p.m. Martin Cumiskey, 51, of 20 Ethel Ave., was arrested on three outstanding warrants from and possession of a Class B drug (subsequent offense) after officers checked on a person at Oliveira's Steak House on Walnut Street.

Saturday, Oct. 29

  • 3:45 a.m. Britney A. Stilwell, 25, of 111 Lowell St., was arrested at her residence, following a report from a female relative that Stilwell was out of control and causing damage. She was charged with disorderly conduct.
  • 9:49 p.m. Jason S. Trecartin, 31, of 15 Crestwood Ln., Peabody, was arrested, following a motor vehicle stop at the corner of Lowell Street and Priscilla Lane. Trecartin was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and leaving the scene of property damage. His car allegedly struck a sign on Bourbon Street.

Sunday, Oct. 30

  • 12:37 a.m. Cheryl Berg, 29, of New York, New York, was arrested for domestic assault and battery, following a report of an incident with a female relative in a car outside . A 22-year-old New York woman was issued a summons on the same charge.
  • 2:05 a.m. Francis K. Waihiga, 45, of 1 Littles Ln. #56, Peabody, was arrested, following a motor vehicle accident on Lynnfield Street. He was  charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open container of alcohol in his car. The car Waihiga was driving crashed into a pole. PMLP and Verizon were notified.
