The Peabody Tanners boys' and girls' basketball programs open the season Friday against Salem while boys' and girls' varsity hockey picks up after Christmas and swimming, indoor track, gymnastics and wrestling begin after the new year.

Athletics at Bishop Fenwick follows a similar schedule with boys' and girls' basketball taking the court against Cardinal Spellman Friday, although boys' hockey starts Wednesday against Medford.
