The 28th Annual Holiday Festival rang in the start to the season Sunday afternoon outside City Hall.
The high school a capella group Full House performed Christmas carols on the front lawn to a crowd of onlookers, young and old, awaiting the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The jolly couple arrived by fire engine and helped Mayor Michael Bonfanti with the annual tree lighting before heading upstairs to Wiggin Auditorium to lend an ear to what all the boys and girls there wanted for Christmas.
