Peabody's Silvas Runners Up in National Kitchen Makeover Contest

Matt and Manuel Silva run a local franchise of a national kitchen and bath remodeling company and they just won an award for their work.

Peabody's Matt and Manuel Silva recently won a national runner-up award for a custom kitchen makeover they designed.

The Silvas run a Peabody-based franchise of Kitchen Tune-Up, a national kitchen and bath remodeling company, and they received the recent distinction with their entry for the “Project of the Month” in February.

The company says franchise locations across the country compete for the first and runner-up awards, which recognize the most outstanding kitchen or bath makeovers.

The Silvas designed a set of new cabinets in a White Satin Shaker style along with new hardware and granite countertops for a modern-looking ktichen. Lazy susans, a pop-up mixer shelf, tip-out tray and pull-out spice rack all maximize the available space.
