The Peabody Tanners Boys Baseball team hoped to travel to Danver High's Twi Field and get a win, but ran into a buzzsaw in the form of Danvers Falcons starting pitcher Scott Hovey.

The end result was a 2-0 shutout that left Peabody High batters frustrated as they were unable to solve Hovey. Still, it was a tight contest and the two teams battled to keep the score close throughout the game.
