Murray Not Running For Governor; Who Should Run?

Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray will not run for governor in 2014, citing the demands of campaigning, serving in elected office and his desire to spend more time with his wife and two young daughters.

Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray will not run for governor in 2014, citing the demands of campaigning, serving in elected office and his desire to spend more time with his wife and two young daughters, reported his hometown newspaper the Telegram & Gazette of Worcester.

“It's something I have been thinking about for some time,” Murray said of the decision, which he said came after sitting down to talk it through with his wife, Tammy, and key supporters since the Christmas holidays.

Murray, who was mayor of the City of Worcester, told the Telegram & Gazette the demands of running a campaign and serving in office can require 15- and 16-hour days, six and seven days a week and would leave him little time to be with his family.

Gov. Deval Patrick has already announced he will not run again.

With Murray and Patrick not in the race, who do you think should run for governor? Scott Brown, if he's not a senator again by then?

Is Baker considering another go for the Governor's office in the 2014 gubernatorial race?

"I'm going to make that decision based on conversations with my wife and what else is going on in my life and whether or not I think it would matter and it would make a difference, and I think that's so far away," said Baker.

Why would we think he would run when he can't even drive?

Exactly, and the way he handled it by trying to cover it up made it even worse. Good thing he's not running as I doubt very many people would trust him after that.

Charlie Baker - now he can get a clean shot. No Cahill, strawman and the Media won't be in as tank for a Dem like they are for Patrick.

Well, not so fast. The "pull the vote" thing worked last time, they would just find someone else to distract independent voters who don't know how the game is played, and we have yet another four years in isolation and darkness.

Mr. Murry seems like a nice guy, but launching a Crown Victoria in the middle of the night and looking like he's fresh from electroconvulsive therapy makes me feel kinda bad for him.

But enough of these guys... ENOUGH

Blessed are those that can give without remembering, and take without forgetting.

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.'
The florist was pleased and left the shop.

When the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen roses waiting for
him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill , the barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop.
The next morning when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you ' card and a dozen donuts waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his bill , the barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there
were a dozen Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON!
