Peabody High girls' hoops is back on track after a couple straight seasons out of the state tournament bracket.
The Tanners (16-4) are seeded 4th and host No. 13 Methuen (11-9) on Feb. 26 (7 p.m.).
The last time Peabody qualified for the Division I North playoffs was 2010 and the Tanners were cleanly knocked from the tournament in the semi-final by Central Catholic.
The Tanners didn't qualify in 2009, but again from 2006-2008 didn't make it far into the tournament.
Stay tuned for more postseason news on boys' and girls' indoor track, but suffice it to say the boys made a clean sweep in the regular season (7-0) while the girls finished at 5-2, leading up to Saturday's All-State Meet at the Reggie Lewis Center.
The Tanners' swimming and diving team went 6-1-1 in the regular season and competed in the Division I championships on Feb. 18 with the girls placing 34th overall.

She then placed 26th in the 200 IM (2:26.78), while Maria Strakosha took 22nd in the 100 butterfly (1:05.73) and 34th in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.09) and the 200 medley relay team did not qualify with its time.
