Duff Wins Primary in Governor's Council Race

Peabody native Eileen Duff secured a spot in the November election for Governor's Council in the 5th District in Thursday's primary.
The unofficial results from the Associated Press show Duff winning in a landslide over her fellow Democratic opponents.
Duff will now go on to challenge Republican Maura Ciardiello of Haverhill in the November election.
