It's coming soon...well, at least four months from now. Construction crews have been hard at work at the site of the new Container Store at the mall for months and the latest news is that an official grand opening date is set for Saturday, Oct. 20.

This will be the third Bay State location for the Container Store, taking up 25,000 square feet of space previously occupied by Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse. The restaurant, which occupied less than half that space, was torn down early this year.

An announcement late last year said the new store will stock more than 10,000 products to help customers save space and time. The store layout is divided into lifestyle sections marked with brightly colored banners such as Closet, Kitchen, Office and Laundry.
