The Peabody Tanners Boys Lacrosse team traveled to Chelmsford High School on Wednesday and hoped to head home with a win.

Instead, the Tanners ended up getting thoroughly beaten on a rainy afternoon, 15-5, and were never really in this game.

Chelmsford jumped out to an early lead against Peabody, scoring six goals in the first quarter to Peabody's two goals.

Chelmsford never relented after that, scoring two goals in the second quarter, four goals in the third quarter, and another three goals in the fourth quarter. A lot of the offense was carried by Chelmsford attacker Connor Brimley, who stepped up to score five goals.
