5 Things You Need to Know Today, April 4

Today is Wednesday, April 4. Here are five things to know today in Peabody.

  1. Today's weather: Mostly cloudy through mid-morning with a high near 62 degrees -- wind between 13 and 16 mph, but could see gusts up to 28 mph.
  2. Free crafts for kids: The Main Branch Library is offering free craft classes for ages 9-13 today.
  3. Pasta dinner: The annual Senior Class Pasta Dinner is tonight at 6 p.m. at Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. All are welcome.
  4. Free playgroups: The Family Engagement Center continues to offer free weekly playgroups on Wednesdays for parents and kids at the Kiley School.
  5. Traffic and gas: Did you know you can find latest traffic information and best gas prices in Peabody in our section now labeled "Commute?" Check it out, you can find it at the top of the main page.

Hi John,
Would also like to let your readers know that live tonight. 8-9 on "You Make the Call" on Peabody Access Channel 10, we'll have important info on how people can protect their homes through the Massachusetts Homestead Act.
