12 Peabody Businesses Readers Were Excited to See Open in 2012
There was a lot of anticipation for these local businesses to open this past year.
The original Red's Sandwich Shoppe was established in in Salem in 1945, and now 67 years later, the first off-shoot opens its doors on Route 1 in Peabody.

Peabody's only consignment shop, Gingers Closet on 101 Lynn Street, selling womens clothing and accessories is starting their 5th year in business. Several other similar businesses have opened and closed but not Ginger's Closet.
