Dinner Dealer Offers Discounts to North Shore Restaurants

  • January 1, 2013

[The following press release was submitted by Jessica Brand.]

Salem, MA – After building a successful graphic design company, Jessica Brand officially launches her second business — Dinner Dealer. Based in the North Shore, Jessica turns her focus onto supporting the local economy. Dinner Dealer is designed to benefit local diners and restaurants, retailers, schools and non-profit organizations.

Retailing for $25, Dinner Dealer is a deck of cards containing over $300 in savings to 40+ locally owned restaurants. The cards offer $5 to $20 discounts to sensational North Shore restaurants between Newburyport and Lynn. Good for all of 2013, Dinner Dealer gives local residents the extra incentive to explore dozens of locations throughout the year. In addition to the “shop local” mindset, Jessica and her team want to inspire North Shore natives to "dine locally” as well. Dinner Dealer’s slogan, “Dine out. Dine local. Dine often.” clearly defines their mission.

Not only does this hyper-local product help in preserving North Shore’s culinary landscape, it presents a fresh alternative to fundraising. Schools and non-profits throughout the community can benefit from selling Dinner Dealer decks[MO1] and keeping a portion of the proceeds. Additionally, Dinner Dealer will be making donations to five North Shore food pantries. Jessica states, “For me, personally, it's about doing my part to strengthen our local economy. Without it, I wouldn’t have been able to grow my design business. Dinner Dealer allows me to give back tenfold. The North Shore is my home, both personally and professionally, and I aim to play an active role in my beloved community.”

Months in the making, Jessica and her team have worked nonstop to line up popular restaurants, design and develop the deck of cards, and get everything organized to launch in time for Christmas (all while running a full time graphic design business). They will continue in 2013 to set up fundraising campaigns and arrange to have the product sold by local retailers in order to get Dinner Dealer decks in the hands of as many North Shore residents as possible.

Be on the lookout for decks selling throughout the community via local fundraisers and retailers. Dinner Dealer decks can also be ordered online at www.DinnerDealer.com.

About Jessica Brand

A graduate of Gordon College in 2005, Jessica Brand was determined to work for herself and define her own career. At 24, Jessica began freelancing full time as a graphic designer as J. Brand Designs. Over the last five years she has grown her business substantially, and built a solid team of employees. For Jessica, J. Brand Designs became the solid foundation she needed for bringing new business ideas to life. Dinner Dealer is the first of many yet to come.

Early in 2012, Jessica was inspired to create a set of dining discount [MO3] coupons designed as a deck of cards. For months, she and her team worked on recruiting North Shore’s more popular restaurants. Jessica not only wanted Dinner Dealer look good, it needed to possess a level of panache in order to distinguish itself from other local discount programs. Dinner Dealer is a reflection of Jessica’s ingenuity and creativity. Being a young entrepreneur, it’ll be exciting to see what other business ventures Jessica has in store for the North Shore.

I purchased several decks for Christmas and gave them out as stocking stuffers. Everyone loved them and we're already using the coupons. These guys got some seriously good restaurants. So many of them I've been dying to try out, and now I have a good excuse. Thanks Dinner Dealer!
