The Peabody Institute Library will host “Common Threads,” a needlework group that meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.

The first meeting of the New Year will be Thursday, Jan. 12, 10 a.m., at the Main Library, 82 Main St.

Needle workers of all levels (including those who knit, embroider, crochet, or do other forms of hand-sewing) are welcome to join. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from others and to share what they know.
